Lynda Smith

 Lynda Smith has been a music educator, music therapist and long time  veteran of the music products industry. She was National Sales and  Marketing Manager for Technics Musical Instruments (division of  Panasonic Consumer Electronics Company) and VP and General Manager of  Roland Corporation US, based in Los Angeles.

While at Roland, Lynda pioneered a new Education & Business  Development Division. This Division was focused on bringing more music  and music products to schools and universities. In addition the team  trained music dealers and teachers throughout the US to provide a  rewarding musical experience for adults.

During her time in the music products industry she was part of the  National Association of Music Merchants Music & Wellness program  development and worked with Karl Bruhn and others to implement  Recreational Music Making to dealers and consumers.

As a teacher, therapist and industry leader, Lynda continues to  support local community programs for children and adults in her now home  state of Florida and is an expert advisor to the PLAY MUSIC-ENJOY  LIFE! Piano program, based in Southern  California.
