A native of Los Angeles, and former resident of New York City, Pamela DePiro has been involved with the trade show industry for over 12 years where her responsibilities include training, spokes-modeling, product demonstration (primarily jewelry and electronics) and crowd and lead gathering. She has also been a career professional Musical Theatre performer dancer and instructor recently adding to her extensive resume with a performance at Carnegie Hall in 2012. Pamela has also been a very successful executive and executive assistant at the highest corporate levels in the entertainment industry.
She has performed in professional Musical Theatre productions, Shakespeare productions and Master Chorales over the past 18 years and has had the pleasure working in a Wellness capacity with the LA Opera, Shepard of The Hills Church (Los Angeles – Porter Ranch Campus), COACC Master Chorale and with companies including Walt Disney Entertainment, March of Dimes and the Hollywood USO.
Over the past 15 years, Pamela has worked for Universal Studios under three management changes having worked closely with the Chairman, former owner and CEO Edgar Bronfman, Jr., former CEO Frank J. Biondi, current President and COO Ron Meyer, Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications and Public Affairs Deborah Rosen, President of Film Music Kathy Nelson, Senior VP Motion Pictures Scott Abraham, President of Universal Partnerships and Licensing and Studio Worldwide Executive Vice President Helene Rontauch. Under these executives, she has had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of divisions and areas of expertise.
Her Arts and Wellness background includes spending more than 3 years working with and studying under renowned Shakespeare scholar Ellen Geer performing two seasons at the Will Geer Theatricum Botanicum in The Winter’s Tale and A Midsummer’s Night Dream,and working closely with Ellen to promote the Arts and Wellness in the Arts throughout the greater Los Angeles area.
Pamela has performed all over the United States both touring and while residing in southern California and has had featured roles including Sarah Brown in Guys & Dolls, Angel in Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, Reno Sweeney in Anything Goes working with Broadway veteran Gerry McIntyre and Rosie in Bye Bye Birdie. Featured performances include SBCLO’s Ragtime, Colony Studio’s Ovation-nominated How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Musical Theatre West’s west coast premiere of The New Yorkers, and the national mounting of Fame – the Musical at the Alex Theatre along with performing our National Anthem for the Los Angeles Kings.
